In the Summer, our air
conditioning inspection includes checking the line and low voltage
wiring, tightening connections, checking belts, lubricating all
moving parts and replacing or cleaning filters. Additionally, we
inspect and test all electrical components and safety controls,
check temperatures, pressures and refrigerant charge, clean and
flush the drain and add disinfecting tablets to the condensate pan
to help prevent clogs and bacterial growth. We run the system and
check total operation for efficiency and reliability.

In the Winter, we inspect and
clean the furnace, check gas and propane furnaces for cracks or
rust in the heat exchanger, test for the presence of carbon
monoxide, and perform routine checks as in the Spring. In
addition, we check the draft inducer, temperature rise across the
heat exchanger, and check and adjust manifold pressure. For Heat
Pump systems we service the auxiliary electric heat including
amping electric heat circuits and checking limits, fusible links,
and time delay relays. |
