A/C Inspection

Note current thermostat settings.
Replace thermostat batteries.
Turn cooling on and set to 60 degrees.
If more than one unit serving space, make sure units are numbered; in not, apply and record unit number. (Number front to back/left to right from front of building).
Turn off disconnects (may be more than one).
Replace belt if present.
Brush out blower compartment and economizer section.
Brush down evaporator coil.
Clear debris from drain pan. Blow out drain and trap. Add at least 5 pan tabs; more if above 5 tons.
Check condenser coil for dirt. Brush if needed. If more cleaning is needed; notify office.
Check all contactors for pitting and burns. Replace if needed.
TURN POWER ON.
Check each compressor for proper operation.
Check all condenser fan motors for proper operation.
If Delta T is off; check pressures on each compressor; add refrigerant only after careful analysis.
Take Delta T and record.
Replaced and secure all panels. If screw holes are striped, install new drill screws.
Pick up any screws or material off roof.
Reset thermostat to original temperature and wipe down.
Make sure all switches and disconnects are turned back on.

Fill out service log, if not present attach to unit.
Place J&B foil label on OD unit if not already there. Replace existing label if worn.
Explain findings to customer and suggest any upgrades or replacements that are appropriate.
Advise customer that invoice will follow via email.
Thank customer for their business!
Populate work order on tablet. List all parts & materials used. Upload any images.
Note any work that needs to be done.
Note general condition of major components and approximate age of equipment.
