Boiler Inspection
Note thermostat settings.
Put in heat and raise to 80 degrees.
TURN POWER OFF.
Tighten all wires.
Inspect all wiring and electrical components, e.g. contactors, relays, and run capacitor.
Inspect and clean flame sensor.
Start boiler.
Check boiler pressure.
Inspect hot surface ignitor, pilot safety, rollout switches, limit switch and any other safety.
Tighten thermocouple if needed.
Test aquastat.
Check burner fire and flame color (should be blue).

Take CO reading in space AND in flue. Check flue temperature. Print out receipt and place in service log ziplock.
Check Delta T and CO test. Confirm Delta T is within Manufacturers’ specifications.
If natural draft, check cleanout & clear debris and inspect flue pipe.
HUMIDIFIER, if covered: Open damper, start, test, and set humidistat to 35 percent. Confirm clean water panel in place.
Reset thermostat to original temperature and wipe down.
Make sure all switches and disconnects are turned back on.
Wipe down outside of unit with cleaner.
RESET SYSTEM and clean up area.
Screenshot Model & Serial Numbers for new customers or for existing customers when parts or replacement unit is needed.
Fill out service log, if not present attach to unit.
Place J&B foil label on OD unit if not already there. Replace existing label if worn.
Explain findings to customer and suggest any upgrades or replacements that are appropriate.
Advise customer that invoice will follow via email.
Thank customer for their business!
Populate work order on tablet. List all parts & materials used. Upload any images.
Note any work that needs to be done.
Note general condition of major components and approximate age of equipment.
