Often times, we overlook how vital the maintenance of our HVAC equipment is to our comfortable lifestyle. It is important to understand that mechanical equipment requires maintenance. Just as your car needs periodic oil changes and tune-ups to ensure safe and efficient operation, so does your HVAC equipment.

Routine maintenance optimizes performance and extends the lifespan of your HVAC equipment. And, an efficiently operating system will save on utility bills.

 

J&B Comfort Systems, Inc. offers Residential and Commercial customers Planned Maintenance Service Agreements designed to provide the necessary maintenance of your Air Conditioning and Heating equipment.


With a Planned Maintenance Service Agreement you will receive up to two Seasonal Inspections (based on your equipment) for a one-year coverage period. Also included is preferential scheduling over non-contract customers, unlimited service calls during normal business hours (discounted evening & weekend rate), no charge labor for repairs with only a few exclusions, and parts billed in addition or claimed for warranty.

You’ll find comfort in knowing that should the need arise for a service call, we’ve got you covered.

INSPECTIONS

Don’t wait until you experience a problem with your Air Conditioning or Heating System.  Some equipment failures can be prevented through routine maintenance. Our thorough HVAC Inspections are designed to detect problems before they happen and help ensure your system is up to the task of providing comfort to your home or business throughout the year.

Our certified and trained technicians will perform the following checks and tests as part of our routine Maintenance Inspection.

OUR AIR CONDITIONING INSPECTION INCLUDES:

  • Check line & low voltage wiring

  • Tighten all connections

  • Test all electrical components

  • Check and amp. motors

  • Check belt; tighten or replace as necessary

  • Brush inside of blower area or air handler

  • Check all safety controls

  • Check and record temperatures

  • Check refrigerant charge

  • Clear & flush accessible drains with CO2 cartridge

  • Add disinfecting tablets to accessible drain pans

  • Replace filters as necessary

  • Check contactor for signs of pitting; replace as necessary

  • Brush down coils

  • Cycle system

  • Replace batteries in thermostat as necessary or applicable

  • Note work required or recommendations with cost estimate

OUR HEATING INSPECTION INCLUDES:

  • Check line & low voltage wiring and electrical components

  • Check and amp. motors

  • Check draft inducer

  • Check/clean burner & blower compartments and brush down coils

  • Check ignition circuit

  • Check and record temperatures

  • Amp. electric heat circuits, check limits, fusible links, time delay relays (HP)

  • Service auxiliary heat & check refrigerant charge (HP)

  • Check all safety controls

  • Inspect heat exchanger for holes, cracks & rust

  • Clear & flush accessible drains with CO2 cartridge

  • Check belt; tighten or replace as necessary

  • Replace filters as necessary

  • Check contactor for signs of pitting; replace as necessary

  • Cycle system

  • Replace batteries in thermostat as necessary or applicable

  • Note work required or recommendations with cost estimate
